Maybe this takes time.... a lot of time to remove hair. I have used it a few times and I just dont find that there is any hair disappearing. I use it on my legs solely until I get the hang of this item. I use it according to directions. I can smell the product working. I see the blue light in a constant state. All as the directions states. But I dont find that anything is happening. For the cost of No!No! I kind of expected more. But I will continue using it and see if there is something missing or maybe something I'm doing wrong, or whatever.... I want to give this a proper chance to impress me because its No!No!. More to come later.
This was so easy to figure out and use! It’s small and is easy to store. Doesn’t hurt at all and as long as you follow the directions it works very well. I had laser done professionally and use this for touch-ups.
I am not sold on this yet. I will say that the biggest benefit to using this over IPL hair removal is that you can use it on white hairs and moles. Because it is burning just the hair via contact with a tiny wire, it is not harmful to your skin from what I have read.I do wish the instructions were a little more specific in what the difference was between this and an IPL system. For example - I had to search online a lot to find out that you don't need the hair to be a certain length or just shaved to use this (like an IPL)... what I found suggested that having some hair for the electrode to touch is needed, but still, the information I did find was minimal.Just like an IPL system, the end gets warm, so use the setting your skin and handle, then take a break if it gets too hot. I have not had lasting success with this yet, but the included information does say that after many uses hair should not come back as quickly. The only thing I don't love so far is the smell of burning hair.I do like the use and movement of the system. It took a little bit to get used to, but it is very easy to glide across your skin. So far it is good for temporary hair removal.
So I understand with this technology you are not to expect immediate results, and that its supposed to be after several uses you do.. These are my thoughts after 3 uses. I could definitely smell it was burning hair, but I seemed to have to go over an area several times to notice that there was less hair. Normal I think? It seems to be growing back slower already so hopefully over time that will be even more noticable. This takes time and commitment for sure, but if you're ok just doing while you watch a show or something it's not too bad..
Maybe we are too hairy for IPL, or maybe the tech isn't there yet, but after repeated sessions on nearly clear vellus hairs as well as coarse body hair, this seems more of a PITA than it's worth. We're going to stick with it and report back, but don't get your hopes up for permanent removal.
